Roy V. Dimaano is a seasoned legal professional with nearly two decades of experience providing comprehensive legal counsel across diverse sectors. His distinguished career has been marked by significant contributions to both the public and private sectors, demonstrating his versatility and expertise.

Prior to establishing Dimaano & Lagula in 2015, Atty. Dimaano gained valuable experience working in several reputable law firms. Starting as a Paralegal/Researcher and progressing through the ranks to become a Partner, he honed his legal skills and developed a deep understanding of various legal disciplines.

Roy has played a pivotal role in shaping public policy through his work as a legal consultant for numerous local government units, including the most progressive localities in the country such as Manila, Makati and Quezon City, and other government agencies and instrumentalities like the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Department of Transportation and Communication (now DOTR). His expertise extends to areas such as maritime law, banking and finance, real estate, labor and employment, election, and family law. Notably, he was instrumental in the formation of the Philippines' first maritime party-list group, serving as its Secretary General and driving legislation to benefit the maritime sector, more particularly the seafaring community.

In the corporate world, Atty. Dimaano serves on the boards of several companies operating in diverse industries such as overseas deployment, real estate, finance, and BPOs. His legal acumen and strategic insights contribute to the effective governance and management of these organizations.
 
A graduate of the University of the Philippines, Los Banos and the University of the East, Atty.
